A safety-focused canopy and chemical-containment infrastructure project at Pars Oil and Gas Company's Site 1 in Asaluyeh.
The chemical storage canopy project at Pars Oil and Gas Company's Site 1 in Asaluyeh is intended to improve hazardous-material storage safety and manage the consequences of potential chemical releases. The project covers approximately 1,728 m² in the northern portion of the existing yard and was awarded to F.O. Pajand in Mordad 1404 (Iranian calendar) with an initial six-month period.
The scope includes ground preparation and levelling, reinforced-concrete foundations, industrial flooring and installation of 64 steel columns and associated canopy components. Reinforced-concrete drainage channels and sealed collection sumps form an essential part of the chemical containment infrastructure for emergency situations.
Asaluyeh's hot, corrosive environment and the possibility of contact with chemicals require particular attention to concrete durability, protective steel coatings and sump waterproofing. Compaction testing, concrete quality control, welding inspection and dimensional checks support safe execution. The project combines structural construction with operational safety and environmental protection requirements.
