Deep excavation stabilisation with nails, anchors, deadmen and steel piles near a qanat and weak soil layers.
The Future development involved an approximately 2,500 m² site and around 3,900 m² of excavation-support surface. Changes in street level, a neighbouring qanat, water inflow and unstable ground were significant construction challenges. The support arrangement used nails, anchors, deadmen and soldier piles, executed in stages to maintain excavation stability.
