Procurement and construction of industrial warehouse and support facilities, a fire-vehicle shelter and approximately 1,910 metres of precast concrete perimeter wall.
This project is located at the direct reduction plant of Sabzevar Pars Steel Company, approximately 50 kilometres along the Sabzevar–Esfarayen road. Under Contract No. 1404034 dated 28 Dey 1404 (Iranian calendar), F.O. Pajand is responsible for procuring materials and constructing a group of industrial buildings and supporting facilities. The initial contract period is 18 months.
The works comprise a steelmaking warehouse, a shelter for fire-service vehicles, a material stacking and reclaiming building and approximately 1,910 metres of precast concrete wall along the northern site boundary. Activities extend from demolition and site preparation to foundations, fabrication and erection of structural steel, roof coverings, masonry, floors, finishing and external works.
Electrical, mechanical and sanitary services for the buildings are also included, such as power distribution, lighting, earthing, surveillance cameras, fire detection and a sanitary wastewater septic tank for the stacking and reclaiming building. Steelwork is subject to fabrication and weld-quality controls, non-destructive testing and protective coating requirements. The facilities support storage capacity, site organisation and fire-service operations.
